Commerce platform · For Instagram & WhatsApp sellers

Run your shop like a business.Keep selling like yourself.

The best sellers already know how to sell — the DMs, the stories, the “message us to order.” kodo just gives that hustle a backend: one dashboard for orders, stock that doesn't lie to you, payments that reconcile themselves, and a storefront when you need one.

Beyond the basics

Once the day-to-day is handled, here's what else kodo does.

Miko drafts. You decide.

An assistant that writes inbox replies — with as much autonomy as you choose.

  • Suggest — Miko drafts, you send. Nothing reaches customers without your approval. It can also prepare draft orders for review.
  • Assist — Miko replies automatically and hands threads back when a rule fires or it's unsure.
  • Auto — same as Assist for now. Fully autonomous ordering is still in development.

Start with Suggest. Move up when you're ready.

A homepage that's actually yours.

Your own storefront at yourbusiness.kodoshop.lk — mobile-first, fast, and built to be shared. Put the link in your bio, your stories, your status.

Pick your collections, set your delivery rates, run discount codes. It looks like your shop, not a template.

Reviews you actually control

Testimonials from real customers — you send the link, you approve what shows.

  • No fake reviews, no scraped stars.
  • You choose which ones go on your storefront.
  • Builds trust without needing a marketing budget.

From DM to shop in three steps.

  1. Create your store, free

Sign up and pick your link. Your shop is live in minutes. No code, no designer, no hosting.

  2. Add products & share the link

Upload your catalogue once, then drop your kodoshop.lk link wherever you sell: Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok, anywhere.

  3. Get orders, get paid

Customers browse and check out themselves. You handle every order, and the money, from one dashboard.

We're with you at every step.

Something not working, or not sure what to do next? Message us directly — the people who build kodo are the people who answer.

Start free. Pay when it pays you back.

No card to start, and nothing taken from orders you settle yourself. Move up when the shop is busy enough to want the help, and not before.

The kodo fee on card payments is added to your monthly bill — it is not deducted from the payment, which still settles from PayHere straight to your bank. PayHere charges its own transaction fee, which kodo neither sets nor collects. Orders you settle yourself carry no kodo fee on any plan.

Taking payments

Take card money on every plan. Stop chasing it on the paid ones.

A free shop can already be paid by card — you send the link and confirm it yourself. Connect your own PayHere account and the order does that part for you.

On the free plan

Manual payment link

Generate a link in your gateway’s own portal, paste it into kodo and send it to the buyer. Real money, really paid — the confirming is the bit you do.

  • You create the link and send it on
  • The buyer pays your gateway directly
  • You mark the order paid by hand
  • kodo never finds out whether they paid

On the paid plans

Card payments built into checkout

Connect your own PayHere account once. Buyers pay by card without leaving your shop, and the order marks itself paid the moment PayHere confirms it.

  • Connect your PayHere account once
  • The card is entered on PayHere’s own secure form
  • Buyers pay while checking out of your shop
  • The order marks itself paid off a signed callback

Card payments need a custom domain, which the paid plans include. PayHere registers a merchant account against one specific domain, and a kodoshop subdomain cannot be registered because it is not yours — so the two come together rather than one at a time.

kodo charges a fee on the card payments you take through the built-in gateway. It is added to your monthly kodo bill — not deducted from the payment, which still settles from PayHere straight to your own bank. PayHere charges its own transaction fee on top, which kodo neither sets nor collects. Orders you settle yourself — a payment link, a bank transfer, cash on delivery — carry no kodo fee on any plan.

kodo's fee is Standard 1% and Pro 0.6%. A shop taking LKR 500,000 a month by card pays about LKR 2,000 less on Pro — the same card payments, a smaller line on the bill.

  • Your own PayHere account — kodo is never the merchant of record
  • Money settles straight to your bank, not through kodo
  • Card details never touch kodo

Everything your shop's been missing, in one place.

Orders, stock, payments, a real storefront — sign up and let kodo hold what your DMs never could.

FAQs

Is kodo really free?

Yes — there's a free plan, and no card to start. Create your shop, add products and take real orders at no cost. Paid plans lift the limits when the shop is busy enough to want them; the current prices are in Pricing above, and on the pricing page.

Do I need a website or any code?

No. You get a hosted, mobile-first shop at yourbusiness.kodoshop.lk that's ready to share. Nothing to build, design or host yourself.

How do my customers pay?

Cash on delivery or bank transfer, the ways Sri Lankans already pay. For transfers, customers upload their slip at checkout and you approve it from your dashboard.

Can I connect my WhatsApp and Instagram?

Yes. Connect your WhatsApp Business number and your Instagram account so buyer chats land in the kodo inbox instead of two separate apps.

What can I sell?

Clothing, accessories, beauty, food, home goods, handmade. Anything you currently sell in your DMs. Add photos, prices, sizes and collections in minutes.

Do I need to be techy?

Not at all. If you can post to Instagram, you can run a kodo shop from your phone.
