This page explains how kodo uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them.

1What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — such as local storage — let a site or app remember information between visits. We use these to keep kodo working, to remember your preferences, and to understand how the product is used.

Good to know: our fonts are served from our own servers rather than a third party. This marketing site (kodo.lk) does use one third-party measurement tool — the Meta pixel — so we can tell which of our Instagram and Facebook ads actually bring people here. It is the only third-party tracker on this site, and you can block it in your browser settings without breaking anything.

2How kodo uses them

Strictly necessary
Used to sign you in, keep you signed in, secure your session, and remember items such as a shopping cart on a store. The service does not work without these.
Functional
Remember your choices and preferences so kodo behaves the way you expect.
Analytics and performance
Help us understand how the platform is used so we can improve reliability and features. These are used in an aggregated way and are not used to advertise to you.
Advertising and measurement
On this marketing site only, the Meta pixel records that you visited kodo.lk and which pages you looked at. We use it to measure whether our ads are working, and to let Meta show our ads to people whose behaviour resembles yours. It is set by Meta rather than by us, and it is not present inside the kodo product itself.

kodo does not sell your personal information. We do not display anyone else's advertising on kodo.lk — the Meta pixel described above measures our own advertising and helps us reach similar audiences on Meta's platforms.

3Controlling cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to warn you before accepting them. Because strictly necessary cookies keep you signed in and keep the service secure, blocking them may stop parts of kodo from working.

4Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time and will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
